Shepherd’s pie
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup diced green pepper
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 2 cups cooked peas and carrots
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 can corn, drained
Directions
- Brown beef.
- Add onion and green pepper, cook until tender.
- Stir in soup, place in greased (1.5 qt, round) casserole dish.
- Add peas and carrots on top.
- Add mashed potatoes in a ring, allowing filling to show through.
- Drizzle melted butter on top.
- Bake uncovered at 350F until heated through (~25 minutes).
