Onion and potato pakora
Ingredients
- 1 cup gram flour (besan or chick pea flour)
- 1/2 t cumin
- 2 green chilis, finely sliced
- 1/2 t red chili powder
- 1/2 t turmeric powder
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 3 cups mustard oil
- 2 potatoes, thinly sliced
- salt to taste
Directions
- Heat The 03 Cups of Oil into the pan
- Combine gram flour, cumin, red chili, turmeric, finely sliced chili, and salt to taste. Mix it well with water. Add the water slowly to get a paste.
- Cut the potatoes into thin pieces & coat w/ batter.
- Fry in oil until brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Repeat w/ onions (can use thicker paste), and serve with chutney.
