Bacon dressing
Ingredients
- 12oz bacon
- 1/4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup minced red onion
- 1 Tbsp corn starch
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Cook bacon in oven at 425F until crispy, but not burnt
- Put half of bacon away. Crumble other half of bacon. Place bacon drippings in a small saucepan.
- Add vegetable oil, white vinegar, water, sugar, minced red onion, and corn starch to bacon drippings in saucepan.
- Cook on medium until onion is translucent.
- Add crumbled bacon when ready to serve. Add salt and pepper to taste.
